I guess a “Sorry” is in order for lack of updates. Haven’t really had a lot to moan about over the last couple of days. Couple of stupid things in the news that I may as well voice my opinions on though.

1. Cadbury’s > Kraft Takeover

It’s a very sad day when a company of this age is brought out by an American Firm. If things continue this way, then there really will be nothing British left. It amazes me that this has been allowed really, considering Kraft had to borrow money to even buy the Cadbury’s which instantly puts the company at risk. Stupid bloody idea.
They are obviously going to cut staff levels regardless of what has been promised. But I guess as long as they don’t go changing the way it’s made with cheaper alternatives then I will keep buying the products.

So here’s to you Cadbury’s. You’ve had a brilliant run. The BBC has created a timeline of their past which can be found; here.

2. Tiger Woods – Sex Clinic

What utter utter bollocks. Who comes up with these ideas? Any normal person would just be called a pervert and have done with it.
A Sex Clinic… Please. People have to go and get therapy for being horny? Have you people ever heard of Masturbation. It works wonders if your wife / partner is at work / away for a couple of days.  And plus point. You can even keep your filthy ideas in your head and nobody will ever know that you want to sleep with 15 women at a time.
Where on earth is the Common Sense going in this world…

3. “Comparethemarket” / “Comparethemeerkat”

Who else is bored of this complete and utter fucking drivel. It’s almost as stupid as that “gocompare” crap. And yes I am aware the language has gone downhill a little in this post, but the world is going downhill too.
You cannot honestly tell me that people typed in comparethemeerkat.com by accident when looking for comparethemarket.com. Is the literacy of the coming generations really that terrible that they have to point out the bloody obvious.

Again this is coming down to the complete lack of common sense in the world. I was stood in someone’s office earlier today and noticed something stuck to their wall that they found amusing.

Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth
How on earth can that be a real phobia? To me that is just a severe dislike of peanut butter sticking to your mouth. How on earth can it scare you so much for it to be classed as a phobia.

1. Twitter for Windows Mobile

It took me some time last night to actually find a Twitter client that i vaguely liked for Windows Mobile that worked reliably. First of all I found PokeTwit, which in all honesty isn’t too bad. It’s a little odd having to scroll left and right for the options when the application is in full screen mode, but it does it’s job none the less.

Some kind soul then pointed me in the direction of moTweets which does the job just as well, but does look a little prettier around the edges. So far, I’ve stuck with the moTweets free option.

2. Go Compare SHITE

Who, in the name of all that is fucking holy, came up with the utter utter bullshit adverts that these complete morons use. The only thing that advert makes me do is mute my TV for 20 seconds so I can’t hear the damn thing.
Saturday also proved how stupid the advert really is, as the only person it actually grabbed the interest of was my 4 year old daughter.  The only reason I’m having a moan about this today is because I was forced to listen to it as I was not able to mute my TV in time due to removing a psycho kitten from the behind the sofa.

My god what a racket it is! Does anyone else have views on that advert or is it just me who is completely unable to tolerate stupid things and people?

3. 7 New Visitors

Moving away from the moans for a moment, 7 New visitors and 3 returning yesterday. Which means word is spreading and someone actually reads this utter babble, which is quite impressive really. You would have thought that many people would have something to do. But hey, keep them coming

4. Left Open

I don’t really think I have another point to make yet. Other than maybe the on going topic of “Frozen Britain”.

Looks a little bit on the  chilly side of life doesn’t it?

Apparently this picture was taken by NASA’s Terra Satellite on the 7th January. (Source: BBC News). Now I seem to recall the UK has had worse  snow than this before, yet everyone seems to be struggling. Take us back 10 years or so, and I remember having to fight my way to school with  snow almost up to my knees. (Yes it may have only been up to my friends ankles, It’s not my fault I was short ) But in all seriousness where has  all of the Common Sense gone from the world?

People jumping into FROZEN LAKES to save their dogs. I’m a pet lover but come on…
People going for Mountain walks… IN THE SNOW. Nobody seems to be able to think for themselves any more, what the hell is the problem?

Anyway, I may have another rant on the severe lack of common sense of the coming generation a little later on. Right now I think it’s time for a cuppa.
