As you may have noticed if you had visited over the last few weeks, Maintenance Mode has been active. Some small changes have been made to the blog (mostly background) such as upgrading to latest versions of things etc.

You may also have noticed that there is a new Widget on the right hand side titled “My Daily Burn”. For those of you who haven’t heard of it, DailyBurn is the fastest-growing diet and fitness tracking site on the web.

We all want to keep track of our figures, and working behind a desk all day really doesn’t help matters. I have been exercising for quite some time now and never really recorded it. So I think it’s about time I did.

From the plugin, you will be able to watch me keep track of my Weight, Calories I have eaten and Calories I have burnt.

I will also be writing up an article on the latest Beta of Acronis True Image Home 2011. Hopefully it will be as easy and as powerful as their previous versions.

I’m still currently downloading the installer, coming in at a whopping 7.7GB, my speed has now dropped to a shoddy 532.4 kB/s and im only at 4.4GB. Guess this is going to be an over nighter. Never mind, guess I will just have to do some quality control during the day tomorrow.

Also means I can’t do much with my connection for the evening, oh the joy of living in the middle of nowhere and having crap connections.

In other news, I have managed to get a little bit of work done on Containment. I have been working on the Storage Room today, which is nowhere near complete worryingly, considering the amount of time that has gone in to it!

As you can see, it still needs quite a few props added, the fan in the ceiling isn’t yet lighted correctly, some of the Storage Crates are also going to be doubled up in size to create a more creepy atmosphere. The floor needs some proper grating added rather than just the texture, and a load of Cable and pipe work are going to be added to the ceiling.

So there it is as it stands so far!

The time has finally come, Unknown Worlds has finally managed to fix all glitches for the GeForce 7 Series cards. Well, they have for me. Their latest release is Build 131.
This means that there will no longer be funny lines all over my screenshots and the shadows from my lighting and texturing will show properly.

Second for the evening is two new screenshots of Containment. I was hoping to finish all the BSP Mapping for Containment today, but alas many things have been happening throughout the day. But I did manage to get a small portion done to the basic level.

Please keep in mind, these following screenshots do not have the lighting or textures in the right place, and only the most simple of props have been added to show the nature of the room / hall.
